Catherine “Cat” Sheehan is a seasoned trial attorney who has taken hundreds of cases to verdict and judgment in jury and bench trials in both state and federal court. Catherine has extensive experience representing clients in abuse and neglect claims brought by the Department of Children and Family Services (“DCFS”) both as a public defender and as in-house counsel for the largest private Guardian ad Litem organization in the State of Illinois. She also has extensive experience representing seniors and disabled persons who experienced abuse and neglect in nursing homes and in guardianship proceedings. After going through her own divorce, Cat became interested in pursuing a career in family law and joined the team at Mirabella Kincaid Frederick & Mirabella, LLC as an associate attorney where she now represents clients in divorce proceedings, parentage cases, guardianship matters and claims brought by DCFS.
